Material-base is a suite of AI-powered tools designed to make the lives of scientists and engineers easier. These tools use trained artificial intelligence models to accomplish tasks that are usually incredibly time-consuming or difficult to do. Niche materials with typically hard to find information can be investigated in seconds, and candidate materials for specific applications can be discovered with just one search, plus a whole load more features  - all of which allow for a faster, more streamlined workflow.Created by a pair of scientists/engineers wanting to fix their own problems, and the problems of their colleagues. 

Current Tools: 
MAT is a tool designed to quickly find the properties of any materials. Without MAT, you’d have to find material properties by scouring the web hoping to find papers, or old, often outdated material data sheets that have information on a particular material. This is painstaking and a waste of time. MAT allows users to simply input a material and a property and the results are returned in seconds. MAT excels with niche materials which are often the most painful to find properties for, and where possible gives data for a property at a range of temperatures. Our GPT-4 model has been specifically developed and trained to be an expert on material science and engineering, and, like any good scientist, MAT provides sources for his results, so you can rest assured that the output you’ve been given is both accurate and reliable.
